Our latest paper in Frontiers in Immunology shows that blood from diet-induced obese and diabetic mice remodels the Aedes aegypti midgut metabolic landscape and significantly lowers Zika virus infection rates — establishing a new immunometabolic axis at the heart of arbovirus transmission.
